​​Based in Titan Recruitment’s Perth team, Ava Baker specialises in Mechanical Engineering recruitment across the resources and energy sectors. She works closely with clients and candidates on roles including Mechanical Engineers, Project Engineers and Piping Engineers.

Ava brings a personable, resilient and relationship-driven approach to recruitment. She values building strong connections with clients, candidates and colleagues and is focused on delivering outcomes that genuinely align with each person’s goals. She enjoys the challenge of recruitment and the knowledge it takes to succeed in a fast-moving market.

What Ava enjoys most about the industry she recruits for is the constant change within mining and resources. With new projects, technologies and developments emerging all the time, she is motivated by the pace of the sector and the role it plays in building the infrastructure and energy systems that support modern life.

Before joining Titan, Ava worked in recruitment specialising in underground mining operations, recruiting across roles from entry-level Nippers through to Underground Superintendents. She also brings firsthand site experience from her time with BHP at Mt Whaleback as a Dump Truck Operator. Outside of work, Ava is a resident DJ in Perth, a singer-songwriter and enjoys travelling, camping, beach days, trying new food and spending time with her cat, Peach.
