Telecommunications Project Engineer

Our Client is an Australian based Telecommunications software and projects services company providing consultancy services and Systems Integration and technologies within the telecommunications environment across the globe into the mining and resources sectors

About the Role
The role of the Telecommunications Project Engineer is to work within an existing and established team, leading projects, liaising with clients from pre-sales through to project planning.

• Create and update detailed design documents, drawings, testing procedures as well as perform testing and calculations to verify designs.
• Oversee FAT and SAT phases
• Accountability for technical issues and working with the development team for resolution
• High level experience in the design and implementation of RF systems including HF, VHF, DMR, P25 and TETRA
• Detailed experience and working knowledge of RF/Wireless system (Mesh, PTP, PTMP) design and implementation;
• Experience in leaky feeder/underground communications; tracking and location services
• A working background with Linux, Windows Server and virtualised environments.
• Microsoft Operating System installation and troubleshooting skills
