About the Role

This large and prestigious organisation have a job opening for a OpenStack System Engineer to join a team dedicated to operating, upgrading and maintaining Openstack, and assisting with migration of APIs and applications away from Openstack onto vSphere, Azure and Pivotal Cloud Foundry. This role offers autonomy and the chance to expand your skills in public and private cloud.

Key Criteria

You must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Openstack administration and operation
  • Design and testing of heat templates
  • Python skills sufficient to help maintain an in-house load balancer Driver
  • Build and deployment automation
  • Load balancers, firewalls and networking
  • DevOps capability
