They require a Planner to ensure all resources are efficiently managed on a major remote location resource sector project. You will be responsible for the construction planning function, reporting to Project Manager and Project controls Manager.
You oversee scheduling development, monitoring progress measurement, schedule analysis and manpower loading. You will liaise and provide occasional direction to the EPCM team and will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the project integrated construction schedule. The role also entails assistance with capital estimating, project scheduling, cost forecasting, project and study reporting and project trending. You will also be required to present project planning information to key stakeholders, as required by Project controls Manager
This position is a fantastic opportunity to join a Greenfields mining venture at the early stages of development.
Reporting to the Project Manager, your primary accountability will be:
- 3+ years planning / scheduling experience
- P6 experience and a holistic understand of the project controls function.
- Minimum 2 years in primarily site based roles
- Ideally engineering or construction related qualification
- Construction experience in EPC and EPCM type projects with Greenfield mining project experience.
