Our client is looking for a Wayside Project Engineer who will have a broad base of accountability associated with wayside design and installations, site data design, balise installation, ALX upgrades and train load out and car dumper interface.
The Engineer will also be required to perform safety analysis and assessments, technical safety reporting and safety case development. Engineers will also provide safety input into wayside and test case development and develop system integration and legacy equipment interface safety cases as required.
The Engineer should be familiar with the principles of heavy haul rail, wayside, signalling, LX engineering and iron ore mining operations. The engineer will have appropriate rail engineering and safety assurance knowledge with a mature understanding of EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129 and EN 50159, etc. It is desirable that they have some familiarity with iESM.
