About the Role
Looking for a Project Manager / Project Coordinator to join this dynamic business. This is initially a 6-month contract to start late Jan / Feb and based in Bentley. For the right fit, this could lead into a permanent position.

Your role will see in a very fast paced environment and will oversee project delivery and business improvement. You will work under the Managing Director of the business to help support the opening of their new facilities in the Perth metro area and other new business ventures coming on line.

The initial remit of the role will be for you to oversee and project manage the fit out of a new 4000m2 facility in Forrestfield. You will be responsible for the subcontractors on site and monitor cost, schedule, quality and safety standards and keep the MD updated on all facets.

In conjunction, you will be a hands on and active member of the existing facility and look for business and process improvement for this extremely busy organisation. Key areas will cover but not limited to; efficiency improvement of process, tightening internal processes and procedures and seeking out cost saving opportunities.

Key Criteria
The success candidate joins the team as a Project Manager. The position will require the applicant to have:
• Background in delivering Fit Out Projects will be essential to be successful in the initial part of this position.
• Commercial acumen to enable you to look for cost saving measures and negotiate good terms with stakeholders.
• Commitment to building and maintaining trusted relationships with customers, suppliers and future business partners.
• Proven background in successfully implementing business improvement strategies within a high pressure work place.
• Flexible mindset and willingness to take on new projects, think on your feet and do what is required to support the growth of the business.
• Strong capability to work with a diverse range of team members and culture to ensure clear and respectful communication.
• Passion for cars / background in the automotive industry will be an advantage.

Hourly rate + car + phone.
Rate based on c$80k - $90k salary.
6 month contract role but the person with a good fit there are plenty of ongoing opportunities within the wider business for you to take a permanent role.
