About the Role
As a Senior Contaminated Sites Consultant you will work with a team to deliver solutions to study, protect, enhance and restore the environment. You will work on a range of projects within the resources, transport, water and built environment industries.

Your high level communication will ensure that you can work in a team on contaminated land management, remediation work and environmental management.

As a Senior Contaminated Sites Consultant (CLM) you will:
The crux of your role will see you delivery focused; Conducting preliminary and detailed site investigations, developing contaminated land assessments, providing support/advice around impact assessments, remedial action plans, site validation reports, waste classifications, site supervision and contractor management.

Key Criteria
To be successful as a Contaminated Land Specialist within this high performing team, you will need to be a highly driven individual with strong communication skills and high level of stakeholder engagement. Your background within the environmental industry will have seen you servicing across a number of sectors.

We will require you to have:
• Bachelor degree in relevant field such as environmental science, engineering, geology.
• 7+ years experience - ideally 2+ years within consulting;
• Strong leadership and desire to teach, mentor and coach junior staff;
• Demonstrable experience in the assessment and remediation of contaminated sites in Australia and a sound working knowledge of NEPM 2013, HEPA 2020, DWER 2014 and DoH 2009 guidance;
• Experience in HazMat Audit and Removals Supervision is desirable;
• Experience of Acid Sulfate Soils is desirable
• Experience in working across various sectors such as Infrastructure + Transport, Water, Resources..etc.
• Knowledge of environmental legislation in WA would be advantageous
• Must be passionate about the environment and ethical practice
