Located in Ayr (Queensland) we operate adjacent to the pristine waters of the Great Barrier Reef marine park, with a diverse team of experienced and dedicated specialists committed to producing premium black tiger prawns for the Australian market.

ECOAA are seeking individuals who share a passion for safe, ethical and innovative aquaculture practices and a move towards a more environmentally sustainable world.

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Ponds Supervisor to the Farming team of join this growing, innovative Aqua-culture business in Queensland. You will be tasked with ensuring production goals are achieved, in line with our high-quality standards.
• Conducting training and monitoring performance of farm technicians
• Ensuring all HSE and quality compliance including reporting
• Advise and support the daily supply chain management
• Monitoring and managing ponds and chemical treatments
• Operation of farm infrastructure including pumps, quads, vehicles and earthmoving equipment
• Managing routine maintenance and reporting
• Routine inspections of equipment, animal-wellbeing, and systems

Key Criteria:
• Degree or equivalent tertiary qualification in Aquaculture or Marine Science
• Min. 3 years Aquaculture experience
• Proven experience in aeration, water quality and husbandry (grow-out)
• Previous experience in a leadership role
• First Aid qualified (preferred)
• Manual Driver's license
