Summary:
We are seeking one Senior Instrumentation Engineer as well as one Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our client's Perth team. These roles involve delivering engineering services, managing resources, performing technical verification, and ensuring compliance with change management processes.
Senior Control Systems Engineer:
- Produce and oversee project documentation such as datasheets, specifications, reports, drawings, and calculations.
- Develop control system design and implementation deliverables, including requirements specifications and test documentation.
- Participate in meetings, provide input to progress reports, and follow quality procedures.
- Interface with vendors to ensure compliance and attend factory acceptance testing.
- Perform short-term on-site commissioning and promote Safety in Design.
- Review key control schemes and control narratives.
- Assist during procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
- Estimate and track engineering hours to the approved budget.
- Design with appropriate risk levels, considering HSE input.
- Contribute to the improvement of design systems, processes, and procedures.
Senior Instrumentation Engineer:
- Deliver discipline-specific engineering services that meet regulatory requirements.
- Manage engineering design and technical verification of project deliverables.
- Produce or oversee instrumentation documentation such as datasheets, scopes of work, and technical reports.
- Participate in meetings and provide input to progress reports.
- Assist in scoping engineering requirements and estimating budgets for proposals.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders and establish good working relationships.
- Proactively resolve discrepancies between requirements.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in instrumentation.
Requirements:
- A recognised engineering degree in a relevant discipline, eligible for membership with Engineers Australia.
- Significant experience in control system and instrumentation design and execution projects.
- Substantial practical experience in the hydrocarbons/LNG industry.
- Experience working with diverse teams across multiple locations.
- Desirable: Honeywell Experion system experience, EEHA competency, and FSEng qualifications.
- Strong skills in client, inter-discipline, and construction interface management.
- Experience with various types of analyzers, including design, specification, procurement, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
