Associate Director - Roads & Highways
Location: Far North, Queensland - Flexibility on Location.
Roster: Full-time - Office Based
Key Benefit: Landmark Transport Projects & Relocation support available
Key Essential Qualification: Chartered & RPEQ with transport infrastructure experience
Role Opportunity:
Lead regionally significant transport infrastructure projects while shaping a growing team. This role combines technical leadership, project delivery, and business development within a collaborative national network.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
• Chartered Engineer & RPEQ with infrastructure project experience
• Extensive transport design or project management
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication
• Proven experience with Australian Standards
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Lead transport and urban civil design projects
• Manage projects, budgets, and delivery outcomes
• Develop client relationships and win new work
• Mentor and develop junior team members
• Contribute to strategic planning initiatives

Our client is a leading infrastructure consultancy with a strong presence across Far North Queensland, supporting Transport and Main Roads and regional clients on complex roads and highways programmes. Its North Queensland transport team provides planning, design, project management and technical advisory services across corridor upgrades, safety improvements, flood resilience and regional connectivity.
