Titan Recruitment is partnering with a respected Gold Coast engineering consultancy renowned for delivering high-quality road, highway and transport infrastructure projects across Queensland. Working closely with the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) and local government clients, the business has established an excellent reputation for technical excellence, collaboration and practical engineering solutions. Their portfolio includes major projects such as the Pacific Motorway, Coomera Connector and Gold Coast Light Rail, supported by a growing pipeline of work across the region.
The Opportunity:
Due to continued growth, an opportunity exists for a Junior Civil Engineer to join the Roads & Highways team based on the Gold Coast.
Working alongside experienced engineers and project managers, you'll contribute to the planning, design and delivery of transport infrastructure projects from concept through to detailed design. This role offers excellent exposure to major TMR projects while providing structured mentoring and genuine opportunities for career progression.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver geometric road and highway designs for TMR and local government projects.
- Prepare concept and detailed civil designs using industry-standard software.
- Design intersections, road upgrades, drainage, earthworks and associated civil infrastructure.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver integrated project outcomes.
- Prepare technical reports, design documentation and engineering calculations.
- Liaise with clients, authorities and stakeholders throughout project delivery.
- Support project delivery from planning through to construction.
- Contribute to design reviews, quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You - To be successful, you will ideally possess:
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
- Approximately 1-5 years' experience within an engineering consultancy.
- Experience delivering roads, highways or transport infrastructure projects.
- Working knowledge of TMR standards, Austroads guidelines and Queensland road design practices.
- Experience using 12d and AutoCAD, with exposure to OpenRoads or Civil 3D considered advantageous.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- RPEQ registration or a commitment to obtaining registration will be highly regarded.
