Construction Coordinator
Role Opportunity
An opportunity exists for a Construction Coordinator to join an owner's team delivering a shiploader project south of the river in Perth. Acting as the client's site representative, you will coordinate contractor activities, monitor project progress and ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently. This role would ideally suit a candidate with an SMP background who can effectively oversee multidisciplinary works including structural, mechanical, piping, civil and electrical scopes.

Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Proven construction coordination experience within mining, ports, infrastructure or industrial projects
- Strong SMP background with exposure to civil and electrical works
- Demonstrated contractor management and site coordination experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to monitor project performance, resolve issues and drive outcomes
Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as the owner's on-site representative during contractor execution works
- Coordinate and monitor contractor activities to ensure safe and efficient project delivery
- Liaise with contractors, project teams and stakeholders to maintain project progress
- Monitor compliance with project standards, quality requirements and safety expectations
- Provide regular updates on construction progress, risks and key project activities
