Senior Electrical Engineer - Building Services
This Perth-based permanent opportunity offers the chance to join a growing, design-led building services consultancy delivering a diverse portfolio of fitout, new build, and infrastructure upgrade projects across WA.
Working from a new CBD office, you will play a key role in leading electrical design, managing projects, and contributing to a highly collaborative team across commercial, residential, education, and mixed-use developments.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer (or a strong mid-level ready to step up) to join a business with a strong pipeline of work and clear progression opportunities.
Role Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (Building Services) to join a well-established team across fitout, facilities, and new build project streams.
You will take ownership of electrical design and project delivery across a variety of projects, working closely with internal teams and clients. This role suits someone who enjoys autonomy, takes pride in their work, and values strong communication and collaboration.
While business development is not essential, there is an opportunity to contribute to client relationships and future work winning over time.

Essential Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (recognised in Australia)
• Strong experience across electrical design for commercial, residential, or institutional projects
• Ability to independently manage projects, including planning, coordination, and delivery
• Experience preparing cost estimates and project schedules
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with clients and internal teams
Desirable Skills
• Experience across fitout, new build, or infrastructure upgrade projects (e.g. schools, HVAC upgrades, solar)
• Exposure to Australian standards and local design practices
• Mentoring experience or desire to support junior engineers
• Ambition to grow into a leadership or Associate-level role
Duties & Responsibilities
• Deliver electrical design across a range of building services projects
• Manage projects from concept through to completion
• Prepare design documentation, reports, and cost schedules
• Coordinate with internal disciplines and external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with Australian standards and project requirements
• Contribute to planning, resourcing, and project delivery outcomes
