Mechanical Designer (Perth, CBD)
·$ 70 - $ 80 p/hr incl super
·Materials Handling design
·12 - Month contract assignment
About the Role:
Seeking an intermediate Mechanical Designer with Previous experience working with Material Handling mechanical design.
Duties:
·Develops designs for complete and complex Mechanical engineering systems.
·Ensures compliance with approved Mechanical design standards in own work by those assigned.
·Reviews and checks, design models and drawings prepared by assigned designers for quality, accuracy, neatness, functionality and satisfactory completion.
·Generates 2D drawings or 3D computer Aided design (CAD) design models of high complexity with minimal guidance from others
Key Criteria:
·Sound knowledge of design and drafting techniques, engineering drawings, reading of drawings used by the discipline.
·Expertise in reading, interpreting and using related documents and drawings prepared by other project groups.
·Knowledge of the application of engineering and construction materials related to design responsibilities.
·Highly Proficient in MicroStation 2D and 3D
