Lead Structural Engineer opportunity with a well-regarded consultancy, taking technical ownership of structural design scopes and supporting the delivery of projects across mining and heavy industrial facilities. The role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams, leading a small structural team, and engaging directly with clients and key stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills
- Formal Civil/Structural Engineering qualifications that are recognised by Engineers Australia.
- Lead level experience required within a consultancy environment
- Strong experience with mining plant structures design and non process infrastructure
- Strong stakeholder management skills & able to complete project delivery tasks
- Previous site experience
- Strong understanding of industry guidelines
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver structural design for minerals and heavy industry projects, including mining structures, non-process infrastructure and associated facilities
- Prepare and review engineering calculations, technical reports, drawings and specifications
- Ccoordinate work packages with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
- Contribute to design reviews, constructability assessments and risk management
- Support project delivery through all phases including concept, feasibility, detailed design and construction support
- Engage with clients to provide trusted technical advice and solutions
