About the role
Titan is collaborating with a multinational client renowned for offering engineering, consulting, project delivery, construction, and asset management solutions. We seek a relatively junior Control Systems Engineer with a minimum of 2 years' experience in the field for a 12-month contract. This role will be situated at the client's Brisbane office, focusing on projects within the coal mining sector.

- Design, develop, and implement control systems based on project requirements.
- Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to guarantee smooth integration of control systems within the overarching project framework.
- Conduct testing, diagnose issues, and debug systems to ensure operational efficiency and reliability.
- Conduct regular maintenance and updates to control systems when required.
- Provide technical support to clients and internal teams.
- Stay informed of industry developments and trends to suggest innovative solutions.
- If required, be willing to travel to sites as needed on an ad-hoc basis.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess practical knowledge in operating Rockwell and Schneider PLCs, alongside proficiency in diverse SCADA systems.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in Control System Engineering.
- Experience using Rockwell, and Schneider PLC programming.
- Experience with SCADA systems, including design and implementation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge of OT networks and architecture.
- Familiarity with IEC 61131.
