New opportunity available for an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join this specialist electrical and controls engineering company, providing design and support services to global clients.
As a Control Systems Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work across multiple PLCs across various industries, including mining, oil & gas, industrial and water.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement control systems based on project requirements
- Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to guarantee smooth integration of control systems within the overarching project framework
- Conduct testing, diagnose issues, and debug systems to ensure operational efficiency and reliability
- Conduct regular maintenance and updates to control systems when required
- Provide technical support to clients and internal teams
- Stay informed of industry developments and trends to suggest innovative solutions
- If required, be willing to travel to sites as needed on an ad-hoc basis
More about you
- Bachelor degree in electrical engineering, or equivalent
- Experience with multiple PLC programs, such as Rockwell, Siemens, etc
- Experience with SCADA systems, such as Citect, Clear, etc including design and implementation
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
