Job Description
• Design and develop electrical systems and components for projects in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and commissioning activities in Mackay and surrounding areas to ensure the proper installation and functioning of electrical systems.
• Perform calculations, simulations, and analyses to optimize system performance and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during project implementation and operation.
Key Criteria
As the successful candidate for the role of Electrical Design Engineer, you will meet the following criteria;
• Preparation of engineering designs, specifications, calculations, and reports.
• Collaborating closely with key stakeholders and clients to deliver solutions that exceed client expectations.
• Advocating for and implementing digital engineering solutions.
• Collaborating with other disciplines to deliver work and bring clients' ideas to life.
• Holding tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in the design and documentation of new buildings, as well as modifications of existing buildings.
• Ability to autonomously tackle complex challenges and provide solutions through research.
