New opportunity available for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join this specialist electrical and controls engineering company, providing design and support services to global clients.
As an Electrical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work across various industries, including mining, industrial and renewables.
Responsibilities:
- Producing electrical and instrumentation designs, adhering to specifications and Australian Standards
- Producing LV and HV designs, MCCs, and Switchrooms
- Arc flash calculations
- Hazardous area design and classification
- Design reviews and sign-offs
- Coordinating the configuration and design of Electrical and Control Systems
- Writing accurate technical documents, specifications, and engineering materials
- Applying ownership of electrical design projects
- Collaborating closely with team of designers and engineers
More about you
- Bachelor degree in electrical engineering, or equivalent
- Strong understanding of Australian and industry codes and standards
- Strong understanding of principles of safety in design
- Strong understanding of hierarchy of controls
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
