About the Role
As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in planning and coordinating short to medium-term maintenance for the Mining Village and associated infrastructure. Reporting to the NPI Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing the interface between Village operations, Village suppliers, and maintenance contractors. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the timely completion of maintenance requests, breakdown repairs, and implementing effective maintenance plans to minimise downtime and uphold the well-being of village residents.

As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in planning and coordinating short to medium-term maintenance for the Mining Village and associated infrastructure. Reporting to the NPI Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing the interface between Village operations, Village suppliers, and maintenance contractors. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the timely completion of maintenance requests, breakdown repairs, and implementing effective maintenance plans to minimise downtime and uphold the well-being of village residents.
Key Criteria
- Relevant trade experience/background with a history of managing multiple contractors.
- Maintenance planning experience, particularly with Shutdowns/Service days in a Village environment.
- Ability to learn and master Village supplier maintenance programs.
- Current Driver's License.
- Previous experience working on Rio Tinto sites would be advantageous.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, relationship building, and negotiation skills at all levels.
- Proficient in MS Project, MS Word, and Excel.
- Effective planning and organizing skills with the ability to manage simultaneous projects with equal priorities.
