Our client is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE Advisor on a 2:1 FIFO roster, to join their team in delivering an exciting renewables and decarbonisation project right here in WA. Our client is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE Advisor on a 2:1 FIFO roster, to join their team in delivering an exciting renewables and decarbonisation project right here in WA. This presents an excellent chance to play a pivotal role in a groundbreaking project that aligns with the resources industry's transition towards making renewable energy the primary source for operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise contractor safety performance and ensure compliance with established safety standards.
- Maintain and analyze project safety statistics, identifying areas for improvement.
- Prepare and distribute safety information reports, bulletins, and memorandums to promote a culture of safety awareness.
- Assist in facilitating project site inductions, OH&S meetings, and site OH&S presentations to promote a safe working environment.
- Contribute to project incident investigations, risk assessments, and critical risk management processes.
- Conduct safety audits and inspections of the project, ensuring compliance with site, project, and statutory requirements.
Key Criteria
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S)
- Experience in conducting incident investigations and formal risk assessments.
- Training and Assessment TAE40116 certificate would be advantageous.
- Audit experience is advantageous.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License.
