Our client is currently seeking a HSE Superintendent to join their site-based team overseeing an exciting project within the Resources sector. Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, you will provide your expertise within Health & Safety to support the project team in the safe planning and execution of the project whilst providing leadership to a team of HSE professionals.

Our client is currently seeking a HSE Superintendent to join their site-based team overseeing an exciting project within the Resources sector. Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, you will provide your expertise within Health & Safety to support the project team in the safe planning and execution of the project whilst providing leadership to a team of HSE professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement project-specific Health & Safety risk registers, procedures, and supporting documentation.
- Support the project leadership team in planning for the safe execution of packages or work.
- Implement the Field Leadership program, including ongoing activity scheduling, coaching, and reporting.
- Provide expertise on Health & Safety aspects of contractual documentation, including the review of contractor Health & Safety documents.
- Liaise with clients, regulatory representatives, and collaborate with key internal stakeholders.
- Tertiary Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or an appropriate discipline.
- HSE leadership experience in a project environment, ideally with iron ore.
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of HSE legislation, Australian Standards, and Codes of Practice.
- 8-10 years of experience in construction and/or operational plant-based roles.
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills with a strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Excellent remuneration
- 2:1 roster
- 12 month contract
