About the Role
As the Lead Cost Controller, you will play a pivotal role in managing and controlling costs throughout the DFS stage of a major NPI mining project. You will lead a small team and collaborate closely with project management and engineering teams to develop and maintain robust cost control systems, ensuring that the project is delivered on time and within budget.

You will lead a small team and collaborate closely with project management and engineering teams to develop and maintain robust cost control systems, ensuring that the project is delivered on time and within budget.
Key Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Lead Cost Controller, preferably in the mining industry.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in cost control software and financial management tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Knowledge of mining industry regulations and standards.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to guide and motivate a small team.
- Willingness to jump on the tools and complete work as needed
