Opportunity available for a Lead Electrical Engineer to join an established engineering EPCM, based in Brisbane CBD. They have 3-4 years worth of projects confirmed, working on gas processing and compression facilities.
As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you will be at the forefront of leading and growing the existing Electrical team to support local and international Oil & Gas projects. Your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities, including:

As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you will be at the forefront of leading and growing the existing Electrical team to support local and international Oil & Gas projects. Your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities, including:
Responsibilities
- Preparing electrical designs, adhering to both Client specifications and Australian Standards
- Designing LV / MV / HV power distribution and control systems
- Developing technical documents, specifications, and engineering materials
- Leading electrical design projects, managing detailed design
- Reviewing and signing off work
- Developing electrical MTOs
- Liaising with international offices to meet schedules and budgets
More about you
- A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent qualification
- CPEng or RPEQ preferred
- Previous Oil & Gas experience in EPCM environment
- Previous experience in gas processing and compression facility projects
- A deep understanding of Australian and international industry codes and standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Eligibility to work in Australia
