About the Role
In this role, you'll need a solid understanding of HSE (Health Safety Environment Australia) to ensure compliance with OHSE (Occupational Health and Safety) standards. You'll also have experience in building and maintaining positive client relationships, resolving project issues, and demonstrating clear communication as a liaison between different disciplines and the design team. Your active involvement in the procurement process is crucial to ensure that procured goods meet specifications, adhere to timelines, and stay within budget. Additionally, you'll play a key role in identifying potential risks throughout the project and developing comprehensive plans for risk mitigation, contingency, and resolution.
Key Criteria
• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status is preferred
• Previous technical, practical and leadership experience in mechanical or electrical disciplines
• Proven experience in project management/ supervisory/ workshare co-ordination / EPCM project
• Experience working in a mining environment.
• Full Australian working rights and Australian experience is essential
What's on Offer?
• Hourly rate of $90 per hour including Super
• Initial 12-month contract initially with potential of an extension
• FIFO from Brisbane or Perth
• 2 Weeks On 1 Week Off Roster
