About the Role:

• Project Manager/Project Engineer with strong engineering background to take a project from the tender team through to execution (commissioning).
• Western Australian owned and operated engineering services providing complete design, manufacture and installation service for bulk materials handling equipment and storage structures.
• Leading the process to balance maximum customer satisfaction with the delivery of the appropriate profit margins, enabling the business maximise profit
• Review & execute project contracts.
• Work with the Tender team, Engineering Team and Drafting team to achieve a effective transition from tender win to project completion
• Define the scope of work.
• Lead GATE process, define & deliver to milestones.
• Closely manage budgets & deliver Gross Margin ambition.
• Document review
• Able to communicate ideas and make decisions
• Develop Documentation/Manuals.
• Manage assembly, testing, packing, transport and/or commissioning.
• Initial 3 month contract with view to extension
• Free parking, Perth south eastern suburbs offices.

Key Criteria

• Engineering degree or relevant experience in a manufacturing/heavy industry environment
• High level of organisation and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate plans effectively and confidently internally/externally (including negotiations).
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project.
• Keen understanding of manufacturing workflow.
• Ability to read and understand engineering plans, fabrication drawings and client specifications.
• Adapt to changing circumstances and challenges in a measured, constructive way.
• Understand and manage risks (mitigation plans).
• Excellent leadership and team skills
• Strong stakeholder skills
• Able to prioritise effectively.
