We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Adviser to join our EPCM client team in the mining sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil or mechanical engineering, with extensive experience in implementing and maintaining quality assurance and quality control processes in construction projects within the mining industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilise the Construction Verification Tracking tool to ensure quality control documentation is received, completed, and processed correctly.
- Issue relevant quality/non-conformance notices in accordance with site procedures.
- Conduct contractor mobilisation audits against their approved Quality Management Plans.
- Coordinate auditing requirements for the Engineer's Site construction management team.
- Conduct audits of key contractor documentation such as progressive compilation of Material Data Reports, Installation, Operation, and Maintenance Manuals, commissioning training, etc.
- Engage with contractor QA/QC representatives to ensure awareness of requirements and confirm compliance.
- Mentor/train the Engineer's Site team on Quality Management Systems and RTIO IT systems.
- Establish, maintain, and manage the Site action register, including weekly reporting.
Key Criteria:
- Demonstrated ability to implement and maintain QA/QC processes.
- Design project quality management plans.
- Understanding of projects in construction, with a solid background in this experience.
