About the role

• Multiple Senior Civil Engineers required for a well regarded consultant that is delivering a key iron ore project.
• Strong earthworks and roads engineering design required
• Location: Perth CBD
• Duration: 12 months initial contract (strong prospects of contract extension)
• Will be working in a multi discipline project team of up to 35 individuals.
• Duration: DES and PES are estimated for 18 months, with also further potential for 2+ years of implementation.
• The first 6 months of the project will be basic design. Then transition to detailed design with an estimated 18 months minimum of work ahead.
• For overall design - new NPI infrastructure - haul road networks (civil earthworks), gas pipeline crossing, LV access roads, surface water management (waterway crossing), connection/extension to existing raw water distribution, satellite NPI facilities, and communications infrastructure.
• The civil scope will focus on new roads for both heavy & light vehicles.

Key criteria

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8+ years of Civil Engineering experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency and understanding in earthworks and roads engineering design.
• Previous experience working within the mining industry is desirable.
• Consultant background required
• Able to complete engineering reports and project documentation
• Excellent team skills
