About the Role:

• Well regarded engineering consultant currently delivering key civil packages for a large iron ore project.
• Senior Civil Engineer with strong technical civil engineering design background & mining experience required.
• Previous experience across scopes involving roads, drainage and pads for mining infrastructure and facilities.
• Experience in preparing engineering calculations, and checking design drawings and models.
• Coordinating closely with the civil design team.
• Checking design drawings and models to ensure they align with applicable standards and specifications.
• Coordinating interfaces with the client side and establishing positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Preparing study and design documentation, specifications, and project deliverables.
• Initial 12 month contract with strong chance of extension. Strong pipeline of work.
• Working closely with an experienced and multi discipline team of professionals.
• Perth CBD based

Key Criteria

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in Civil Engineering, and demonstrated experience working within mining and civil earthworks project environments.
• Technical Civil Engineering Design background required
• Previous experience across scopes involving roads, drainage and pads for mining infrastructure and facilities.
• Experience in preparing engineering calculations, and checking design drawings and models.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to liaise with external and internal stakeholders.
