About the Role

Opportunities available for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join an established engineering consultancy. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be at the forefront of revolutionising mineral processing through your expertise and creativity. Your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities, including:

Responsibilities

• Crafting meticulous electrical and instrumentation designs adhering to both Client specifications and Australian Standards.
• Taking charge of LV and MV designs, MCCs, and Switchrooms, ensuring the foundations for success are solid.
• Orchestrating the configuration and commissioning of Electrical and Control Systems, fostering seamless functionality.
• Authoring precise technical documents, specifications, and engineering materials that leave no room for ambiguity.
• Exercising ownership of electrical design projects, where your leadership will shape outcomes.
• Collaborating closely with our team of seasoned designers to innovate designs for diverse plant elements.
• Constructing essential technical engineering documents integral to our project's engineering deliverables.

More about you

• A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• A track record of success in mineral processing within a design and construct framework.
• Proficiency in power systems and LV design.
• Preferred experience in functional safety and hazardous areas within a mining environment.
• Familiarity with instrumentation, control systems, and communications.
• A deep understanding of Australian and industry codes and standards, ensuring compliance is second nature.
• Highly advantageous expertise in base metals and rare earth minerals.
• Superb written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective collaboration.
