Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
- 8 to 12+ years' experience in structural engineering, preferably within mining, resources, or heavy industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of structural design for steelwork, reinforced concrete, and foundations.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and modelling software (e.g., SpaceGass, STAAD.Pro, Strand7 or similar).
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
- CPEng status with Engineers Australia (or working towards) highly desirable
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver structural engineering design for minerals processing plants and heavy industrial projects.
- Undertake detailed analysis and verification of steel and concrete structures in accordance with Australian Standards.
- Prepare and review design documentation, drawings, and technical reports.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior and intermediate engineers.
- Liaise with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Support construction teams with technical advice during project execution.
