Role Opportunity
The Area Manager is responsible for the execution and delivery of specific workstreams on the Underground Ventilation and Cooling Project. You will ensure projects are delivered safely on time and within budget, while meeting the technical and statutory requirements.

Responsible for the day-to-day delivery of assigned project scope, overseeing planning, resourcing, and execution while actively managing cost, risk, quality, scope, and schedule. Works closely with the Study Team to secure funding, manage long-lead and critical-path items, and coordinate multidisciplinary resources. Leads teams to overcome operational challenges, maintain stakeholder satisfaction, and ensure compliance with technical, statutory, and performance standards, while monitoring budgets, EPCM deliverables, and overall project outcomes in collaboration with third party consultants.

Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for the day-to-day delivery of assigned project scope, overseeing planning, resourcing, and execution while actively managing cost, risk, quality, scope, and schedule. Works closely with the Study Team to secure funding, manage long-lead and critical-path items, and coordinate multidisciplinary resources. Leads teams to overcome operational challenges, maintain stakeholder satisfaction, and ensure compliance with technical, statutory, and performance standards, while monitoring budgets, EPCM deliverables, and overall project outcomes in collaboration with third party consultants.
Key Skills
- Bachelor Engineering degree with good technical knowledge
- Experience delivering complex underground projects
- Solid capability in Underground mining, refrigeration and drilling.
- Gold or Copper underground project experiences
- Highly effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills
