The largest battery storage project in the world is currently under construction in NSW.

About the Role
As the Commissioning Manager working for the battery supplier, you will be responsible for overseeing the final stages of this (and future) projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, subcontractors
• Ensure QC procedures are followed, and carry out inspections to confirm compliance
• Oversee functional testing of all system components
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues
• Prepare commissioning reports and maintain detailed records of activities
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards
• Provide training to O&M team
• Monitor performance of solar PV system after commissioning
• Liaise with local and international stakeholders

More about you

• Qualifications in Engineering, Bachelor preferred
• Current Electrical licence
• Previous experience commissioning solar PV projects
• Previous experience commissioning BESS projects
• Strong knowledge of grid interconnections, electrical systems, relevant codes and standards
• Eligibility to work in Australia
