Join the project delivery arm of a global multi-disciplinary engineering group, who have a growing portfolio of work across major mining projects and are seeking a skilled Contract Specialist to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Contract Management: Oversee and manage service and construction contracts from initiation through to completion.
- Post-Award Activities: Manage contract execution, monitor contractor performance, handle contract modifications, and ensure successful closeout of contracts.
- Risk Management: Identify potential contract-related risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise impact on project delivery.
- Compliance: Ensure all contracts comply with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective contract management and resolve any issues that may arise.
Key Criteria:
- 7 plus years experience in similar type roles.
- Experience in a EPCM and Project Delivery environment.
- Proven experience in managing service and construction contracts, with a focus on both pre-award and post-award phases, including execution and closeout.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
