Looking for an experienced Contracts Specialist to join a mining client of ours, working out of the clients South West Bunbury or North of Perth Muchea operation locations. In this role you will be responsible for managing your contracts from tender through to award and administration. In the role you will collaborate with various departments, including external partners, and legal teams to streamline contract processes and mitigate risks.

Looking for an experienced Contracts Specialist to join a mining client of ours, working out of the clients South West Bunbury or North of Perth Muchea operation locations. In this role you will be responsible for managing your contracts from tender through to award and administration. In the role you will collaborate with various departments, including external partners, and legal teams to streamline contract processes and mitigate risks.
Responsibilities will include:
- Negotiate and draft contracts for goods and services.
- Develop recommendations and supporting documents.
- Demonstrate proficient stakeholder engagement and management skills.
- Exhibit a strong understanding of the supplier market and possess excellent commercial acumen.
- Experience in managing contracts related to engineering/maintenance, equipment hire, and logistics services. Experience in MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) would be advantageous.
- Work autonomously to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
Key Criteria
- 5 years of relevant experience in contract management or related fields.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven track record of successfully managing contracts and negotiations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in utilising contract management systems
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
