Role Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Specialist to join the project delivery team on a major gold mining project. This role is responsible for post-award contract management of construction contracts. You will manage all commercial and contractual aspects to minimise risk, ensure compliance, and drive successful project outcomes.

Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Strong background in post-award contract administration within major construction or mining projects
- Proven experience as a Principal's Contract Administrator or equivalent
- Solid knowledge of progress claims, variations, EOTs, and contract risk management
- Proficiency in Ariba, Aconex, SAP, and SharePoint
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
- Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of infrastructure construction contracts to minimise risk and liability
- Maintain contract schedules, monitor contractor performance, and ensure compliance with PC dates
- Ensure insurances, securities, parent company guarantees, and key personnel requirements are up to date
- Manage variation claims, EOT claims, and Site Instructions, ensuring all registers are accurate and up to date
- Chair weekly commercial meetings, maintaining accurate minutes and records
- Foster and maintain positive stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle
