Overview:
Our client seeks an experienced engineer with a background in Process Engineering, Troubleshooting, Process Control, or Planning & Economics within the Minerals Processing sector. This role is ideal for those passionate about using new technologies to solve complex problems and drive growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies for optimising processes in minerals processing plants.
- Serve as a technical advisor, working closely with clients to address challenges.
- Provide expertise and mentorship in Minerals Processing, supporting strategic initiatives.
- Assist in refining market strategies and expanding into new sectors.
- Contribute to the sales process, aligning efforts with company goals.
- Present industry insights to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- BSc in a relevant engineering discipline (Chemical, Mineral, Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing).
- 6+ years of experience in process engineering, automation, or optimization within Minerals Processing.
- Strong understanding of industry economics and optimization techniques.
- Proven ability to develop business cases for operational improvements.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Project leadership experience from concept to implementation.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in business development or sales within the industry.
- Strong data analytics skills and interest in AI applications.
