Electrical Engineer
About the Role
Our clients are currently seeking Electrical Engineers from intermediate to senior levels to support multiple projects within the WA Mining sector in both Perth-based and FIFO capacities. These projects cover both Brownfield and Greenfield scopes of work within commodities such as Iron Ore, Gold, Lithium and Rare Earths.
We are currently inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced individuals who are able to demonstrate the following criteria:
Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialised engineering services, including preparing and overseeing detailed designs and associated deliverables.
• Conduct system studies, protection coordination, and hazard assessments, and develop mitigation solutions.
• Evaluate tender bids and support procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure technical integrity and compliance with client processes by maintaining discipline files and document control.
• Manage electrical vendors and contractors and perform technical verification of team deliverables.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure alignment and clear design interfaces.
• Prepare project documentation, including budgets, estimates, schedules, and reports. Participate in project reviews and safety workshops.
• Communicate regularly with supervisors and the electrical team on design and technical matters.
Key Criteria
• Tertiary Qualification within Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience, within Mining or Oil & Gas environment.
• Previous experience managing contractors with technical, construction, and commercial tasks.
• High level of computer literacy, including proficiency in operating systems, office products, and engineering tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in a team environment.
