This role will be responsible for conducting inspections and audits across civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines, ensuring construction quality and compliance with project specifications, drawings, and Australian Standards.

Role Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Site Quality Inspector to join a client integrated team on a major mining project. This role will be responsible for conducting inspections and audits across civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines, ensuring construction quality and compliance with project specifications, drawings, and Australian Standards.
Benefits
- 2:1 roster with 11-hour days
- 12-month contract with potential for extension
- $95$105 inc super per hour
- Work with a leading EPCM on a major mining project
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 5 years' experience in quality control on large-scale construction or mining projects
- Solid understanding of Australian Standards and construction codes
- Experience with QA/QC documentation and inspection processes (ITPs, ITRs, NCRs)
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
- Certified Welding Inspector (CSWIP, AWS-CWI, or equivalent)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections and audits across civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical works
- Perform inspections and sign-offs at nominated hold and witness points per ITPs and ITRs
- Undertake offsite inspections at vendor or fabrication facilities and issue Inspection Release Certificates (IRCs)
- Inspect stored materials and equipment to verify ongoing compliance
- Verify works against approved drawings, specifications, and standards
- Carry out welding inspections in line with applicable codes and standards
