About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to join an EPCM client team on a major mining project. This role offers the opportunity to be involved in the execution phase of a significant project, overseeing critical infrastructure development across multiple phases. The successful candidate will be positioned to step up into a Deputy Construction Manager role during the Construction Manager's R&R periods.

Responsibilities:

• Direct day-to-day site operations, ensuring all tasks are executed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Oversee a variety of works, including infrastructure development, earthworks, piping, non-process infrastructure (NPI) facilities, and cabling.
• Coordinate and manage the construction of high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) road networks, including primary haul roads and connections to pit ramps.
• Supervise surface water management, including drainage systems, levee construction, and dewatering facilities.
• Lead the development of water supply, storage, and distribution systems.
• Ensure the successful construction of NPI facilities, such as park-ups, crib/ablution areas, and office buildings.
• Manage the installation and distribution of services, including power supply to various facilities

Key Criteria:

• Established experience as a Site Superintendent within an EPCM setting, preferably in the mining industry.
• A Civil Engineering background is preferred, though other relevant disciplines will be considered.
• Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects, with expertise in utilities relocation and large-scale earthworks.
• Strong leadership capabilities, with the flexibility to assume the role of Deputy Construction Manager when needed.
• A strong commitment to safety, quality, and efficient project execution.
