HSE Manager Underground Mining
Role Opportunity
Lead HSE across a complex underground mining development, overseeing contractors and critical high-risk systems within the Underground Ventilation & Cooling Project. Reporting to the Project Director and working closely with Construction leadership, you will drive safety performance across all underground activities.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Lead site HSE across underground operations
• Manage contractors including ventilation specialists
• Oversee ventilation, refrigeration, underground infrastructure systems
• Drive safety culture, compliance, risk management
• Conduct audits, inspections, incident investigations
Key Skills
• Extensive underground mining HSE leadership experience
• Strong construction and HSE combined background
• Proven contractor management on major projects
• Experience with ventilation and underground systems beneficial
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder engagement
