- 6 month initial contract with strong view to transition to permanent employment
- FIFO 8:6 roster 12 hour days
- Up to $120/hr (including super)

Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Degree-qualified Electrical Engineer with strong experience in mining or heavy industrial environments
- Strong grounding in HV/LV power systems, electrical protection, and asset management
- Proven ability to provide site-based engineering support for operations and maintenance
- Experience reviewing and approving external electrical design deliverables
- Sound understanding of Australian electrical standards and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a hands-on, proactive approach
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small engineering team
Desirable Skills
- Prior experience in hard rock underground mining or gold processing plants
- Exposure to brownfields or sustaining capital projects
- Background across both EPCM and owner-operator environments
- Demonstrated capability to mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to maintenance and operations teams across site electrical systems
- Manage electrical queries, outage coordination, and reliability improvement initiatives
- Review, assess, and oversee external design and upgrade packages
- Conduct technical reviews ensuring compliance with safety and statutory standards
- Support project delivery, commissioning, and modification works
- Contribute to ongoing asset improvement and electrical governance processes
- Mentor and develop junior engineers within the site team
