Job description
About the Role
The Mechanical Design Engineer role involves designing, developing, and testing of new mechanical products, creating 3D models and 2D drawings, conducting research and development, liaising with sales and manufacturing staff, providing technical assistance, filing drawings, participating in engineering reviews, ensuring safety in design, contributing to process improvement, working with international teams, managing ERP data, utilising software to create detailed designs, and collaborating with other engineers to review designs and identify issues.
Key Criteria
• Bachelors degree in Engineering
• Experience in manufacturing, design and testing
• Ability and experience with engineering calculations
• Knowledge in creating 3D models and 2D drawings
• Experience in water or wastewater is preferred
• Knowledge of Solidworks and AutoCAD
What's on Offer?

• $90,000 to $120,000 p/a incl Super
