• Perth, WA FIFO 8:6
• Experience in WA mining operations (open pit).
• Degree or Diploma in Mine Surveying, Engineering Surveying, or equivalent.
Role Opportunity
Seeking a Mine Surveyor with proven WA open-pit experience for a long-life operation on a balanced 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth.

Qualifications & Skills
• Degree or Diploma in Mine/Engineering Surveying (or equivalent)
• 4+ years WA open-pit mining experience
• Eligible or working toward Authorised Mine Surveyor (Class 1 or 2)
• Skilled with GNSS, total stations, and mine surveying software (Deswik, Surpac)
• UAV/drone survey experience with CASA RePL
• Valid C-Class driver's licence
Duties & Responsibilities
• Conduct daily open-pit surveys, set out drilling, blast holes, ore blocks, and pit designs
• Capture as-built data and calculate stockpile, dump, and void volumes
• Process survey data (Surpac, Deswik, Trimble) and maintain survey control networks
• Produce reports, update DTMs, and keep mine databases accurate
• Ensure all work meets WA WHS (Mines) regulations and site standards
• Complete statutory plans and contribute to risk assessments and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with engineers, geologists, and production teams
• Guide survey assistants and communicate requirements clearly
