Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's or higher in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Commonwealth (EPBC Act) and WA State approvals (EP Act, Part IV and V)
- Proven ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and deliver outcomes efficiently
Duties & Responsibilities
- Drive environmental and planning approvals for complex, high-impact projects
- Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise across the project lifecycle
- Engage and influence regulators, clients, and key stakeholders
- Develop and review environmental reports and documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Lead and mentor junior and mid-level team members
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Deliver approvals on time, meeting key milestones and regulatory requirements
- Promote best practice and continuous improvement in environmental approvals
