As a Principal Contracts Specialist you will play a major role in administering contracts of varied values ensuring that they are being adhered to project requirements. Working within a EPCM project team during the execution phase of a major Mineral Sands Project you will be responsible for:
- Administer contracts and procurement to maintain quality standards.
- Support supply chain in negotiations and strategy.
- Ensure HSE compliance.
- Develop tender packages, review submissions, and recommend awards.
- Collaborate across departments for timely delivery, performance monitoring, and contract closure.
Key Criteria:
- Extensive Contracts and Procurement experience executing major project in EPCM/EPC environment.
- University Degree, preferably in Law. Degrees in supply chain, business administration, quantity surveying/construction management.
- Commitment to HSE project requirements.
- Pre and Post Award contract experience.
- Strong communication skills, ability to work well within project team and influence others.
- Prior experience with procurement software systems.
- Regular interface with client teams and reporting obligations.
