Are you looking for a role to spearhead approvals for high-profile mining and resources projects across Western Australia's? This is your opportunity to take the reins on the full approval's lifecycle shaping strategy, driving stakeholder engagement, overseeing technical assessments, and leading regulator negotiations. You'll be the go-to expert for clients while delivering outstanding environmental outcomes.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Earth Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent
• Extensive consulting experience with a strong track record delivering environmental approvals for mining projects in WA or similar jurisdictions
• In-depth knowledge of WA's environmental legislation, policies, and approvals pathways (EP Act, Mining Act, Part IV, etc.)

Duties & Responsibilities
• Lead and deliver complex environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and approvals for mining and resources projects across WA
• Develop and implement approvals strategies that align with client objectives and meet regulatory requirements
• Build strong relationships with regulators, communities, Traditional Owners, and other stakeholders
• Oversee the preparation and submission of high-quality environmental documentation
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level consultants
• Support business development through proposal writing, client engagement, and identifying new opportunities
