About the Role

An exciting opportunity for an Instrumentation Engineer with design experience working on minerals and resources projects. You will deliver electrical engineering services to meet the company, and it's customers, specifications on time and within budget.

You will be responsible for electrical engineering services, such as:

• Offer guidance and support throughout procurement, construction, commissioning phases, including drafting requisitions, preforming technical bid assessments, composing purchase orders, etc.
• Verify that the project's scope is clear and that alterations align with project change management protocols
• Attend meetings, compile progress reports, and adhere to necessary inspection protocols

Key Criteria

We are seeking those who can demonstrate a strong mix of the following engineering skills and experience:

• Recognised and relevant engineering degree
• Chartered Engineer status, or eligible to attain status
• Previous experience as a Senior Engineer is desirable
• Extensive experience on DCS / PLC based control systems and software products
• Sound understanding of networking and communications protocols
• Able to deliver precise and punctual work
• Possess a solid understanding of fundamental principles of electrical engineering and a basic grasp of other engineering disciplines
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge of relevant local and global standards, as well as statutory and regulatory requisites
• Show competence in utilising specialised engineering software
• Hold substantial practical experience in electrical engineering, particularly within the minerals and resources industry - this should include participation in multidisciplinary projects and teams
• Possession of postgraduate qualifications in engineering, management, project management, or supervisory fields, or their equivalent, would be advantageous
