Role Opportunity
Client-side Reliability Engineer HME to join a major WA Iron Ore producer. Early January 2026 start on a 3-month contract (possibility to extend)

• $100-110ph + super (based on exp)

Qualifications & Skills

• Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or Reliability Engineering
• 5+ years' experience in reliability engineering with a focus on HME
• Strong knowledge of heavy mobile equipment systems and components
• Proven experience in conducting root cause analysis and implementing reliability improvements

Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse reliability performance of Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) fleets
• Conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and implement corrective actions
• Develop and maintain equipment strategies using reliability tools such as RCM, FMEA
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and OEMs to drive continuous improvement in equipment performance and availability.
• Identify and implement initiatives to improve mean time between failures (MTBF) and reduce mean time to repair (MTTR).
• Review and optimize preventative and predictive maintenance strategies and schedules.
