Senior Reliability Engineer - Electrical
About the Role:
Our client is seeking a motivated Senior Reliability Engineer - Electrical to play a pivotal role in shaping a reliable and efficient electrical infrastructure. This role offers global exposure within our client's business and involves working on diverse projects, from brownfield and greenfield mining developments to renewable energy initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct reliability assessments and failure analyses of electrical systems and components.
• Develop and execute predictive and preventive maintenance programs.
• Implement reliability engineering principles to improve system performance and reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and enhance electrical systems.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives.
• Prepare and present reliability reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
About You:
• Tertiary Qualification within Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 7-10 years' experience in electrical reliability projects.
• Proficient in reliability analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, RCA, RCM).
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and industry standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
